What is an Ad Group?

An ad Group is a unit within an ad campaign that contains Targeting and Creatives .

Targeting options are: Keywords, Category or RON (run-of-network). An adgroup can only be 1 of these 3. You can have many adgroups per campaign. (Category and RON campaigns are coming soon)

Creatives are the actual ads that are displayed. Creatives can be text and/or images ads. You can have many Creatives and Keywords per adgroup. (Text ads coming soon)

At the adgroup level, you can specify the Max CPC you are willing to pay for each click. The MaxCPC applies to Keywords, Channels and RON campaigns.
